Home Safety Assessments

At Right at Home we know your home is the place you feel safest. Yet as we age, changes in vision, hearing, and mobility can make familiar surroundings hazardous and frustrating.

Changing things around often feels overwhelming or unnecessary – until you trip over an electric cord or fall in the bathroom.

We begin with a Home Safety Assessment:​

  • A visit to your home

  • A personal conversation about your concerns

  • A formal, room-by-room safety and accessibility evaluation​

Afterwards, we provide a written proposal outlining practical, affordable ways to improve comfort, minimize risk, and support your independence.

We offer careful, collaborative, curating services to those who wish to age in place but know they need to organize and consolidate their possessions

​If aging in place is no longer safe, we support you and your family through thoughtful conversations about alternative options. If you decide to move, we help you sort, keep, donate, or discard your belongings – always according to your wishes.
